I checked the oil I had got in the garage last week, 3 litres so I only have to get another 2 litres. This morning I drained the oil, changed the filter then started pouring the 3 litres into the filler hole. That looks a bit black I thought Oh sh1t this is used oil, now what am I going to do. Only one thing for it, pour the freshly drained oil back in so I can go and buy some more. A good job I didn't pour the new 2 litres in first What idiot keeps used oil from the 70000 mile service for a little over a year This one. Yikes - sorry to hear of your mishap Alan.Hopefully no lasting consequence, but I know that sinking feeling as realisation dawns only to well.
