Guest
All, I have ordered a set of 'A' lines for my Fusion from the loft. I placed the order a week ago and still do not have them? Has anyone ordered lines from them before? How long did it take? I am going to place the same order with Aerofix and see how long they take. Tis not good for something that is on the shelf / roll. pete_b
A friend ordered some for his hill wing and they said the delay was due to waiting for more orders to come in so they could make them all in one go. Pete b

Phil_P
Aerofix will turn round orders the same day you phone them in, and they will often be on your doorstep the following morning. Just before I went to France a few weeks ago, I had some damage to my wing, so I drove up to Cumbria from Notts and was waiting for them when they opened the shop. They repaired my wing in 1 1/2 hours so I could take it home and I was back home by two in the afternoon. Needless to say I really rate Aerofix. The one time I used the loft, I experienced delays and excuses.
asquaddie
While at the Nationals I did hear a large group of people taking about both places and they didn't have a good word to say about 'The Loft', but nearly all praised the services of Aerofix (Of course, that was their opinion and my bad hearing ). ArcusFlyer
Aerofix have always arrived next day. Loft took a bit longer. EDIT: Although to be fair the loft seemed to do a very good repair on my mates paraglider when he flew it into a low voltage telegraph pole / wire in Tenerife and trashed it quite badly. carvingair
Paramania sent me 20 lines for a Revo and they arrived 3 days later in Canada (2 if you don't count the day I called - I was amazed at the turn around time. I only needed 10 but matched the other side just4fun. Cheers, Marko Fusion 29 (with a spare A line)
irm750
I ordered a couple of "D" lines on the Friday and they arrived in the post the following day. I then fitted them and broke my wing ground handling it in strong gusts so dropped it down to them on the Monday morning. They had replaced part of a panel and it was ready to pick up on the Friday afternoon in time for the last fly-in the next day! Can't speak highly enough about Mike and Eddy down there. They really pulled out the stops for me. Best regards, Ian.
Guest
That just makes it worse? How did you get yours so soon and others ignored for a week or two first? I feel that if I dont get my lines from them today I will cancel the order and go elsewhere never to return. I was told that it would only take 2-3 days. (9 days ago) Gruuuuuu and I missed a great flight last night with the lads. SW
irm750
It might sound obvious but have you phoned to chase them up? I had heard about the lofts sometimes questionable lead-times and so phoned them almost constantly to the point of making myself a nuisance!!! But then I am the worlds most impatient man and needed the wing back for the fly-in. I ordered some replacement brake lines from Paramania some time back and when they hadn't arrived after 2 weeks I called them. They had forgotten about my order and so sent them out for free and I received them within a few days. Good luck! Ian.

haze
In my humble opinion, Aerofix's service is second to none.
Guest
I have spoken to them this morning and they are getting the line length from Paramania and then making them ASAP to send out. I guess its just a case of wait and see now. Postie has been and no lines from the loft. SW

fanman
I live within 20 minutes of the Loft but still choose to deal with Aerofix. Far better service from Aerofix.
nirmal
Gosh. That is pretty damning Fanman . On the one occasion I have had to use the services of Aerofix; the quality of work was truly outstanding, the cost very reasonable and communication excellent. pete_b
Still no reply from Paramania or the loft. So I just ordered my lines from Aerofix told them it was not urgent, so we will see how we get on. Pete b
