helimed01
Forgot to tell you about the circular Nav excersise that Piers had set this evening. A 20 miler with expectations of accuracy over the complete circle. This was set late in the day and the wind was still fairly strong, 15mph at 800ft. It took 46 mins and I landed engine off next to the spot 19 mins after sunset. Just 11 mins of legal flying time left. Very pleased with the accuracy after downloading the track on google earth. Piers had advised to raise / expand vision during flight looking further ahead planning the route. Lifting vision certainly helps. I am finding accurate map and compas Nav' much easier. I seem to be able to see where I am on the map much easier / relating ground to map but accurately now unlike before. Much more relaxed and enjoyable flights.
