edwardc
A couple of months ago somebody put on one of the threads a pdf of how to read the Airmap which I duly printed and now cannot find! Can someone please link it for me or send again. Regards Eddie

norman
You will find a few typos in that revision (2) but as I have lost the master document to a hard drive problem, it won't get revised any time soon.
edwardc
Thanks for the link Dan and thanks to Norman but it was a bit more basic than that! It was more like a detailed explanation of the symbols on the bottom of the aviation map to assist in reading it. Cheers Eddie
Phil_P
I'll see if I can get a scan done and posted early this PM.
phatboy
Just a quick reminder the VFR chart for 250k (quarter mil) 8. England South will be updated on 12 February 2009. Edition 12 will become obsolete! This is the chart that covers Lambourn, so if you use this chart make sure you update to stay legal. I also use the Memory Map version of this, Simon do I recall that you are a Memory Map Dealer? If so could you advise will either of these be available in the online shop? edwardc
Hi Togsie, thanks for the link. I have the aviation maps and can read what the symbols mean by looking at the bottom of the map. However, there was a detailed explanation put on the forum of what all the symbols and abbreviations mean. That is what I am looking for if any one can help. Cheers Eddie
