norman
What a grim picture on the synoptic. I don't recall a summer like it and pray that the Autumn/Winter turns out to be calm, clear and placid for paramotoring. Cancelled air displays, washed out horse trials, Somerset awash.... yeachhh! Phil_P
Agreed, those lows are really dominating the picture at the moment, and have been for ages. I never used to pay much attention to weather forecasts and charts, even when flying PPL, but now I'm absolutely fixated by the darned things. Seriously thinking of buying myself a small weather station and learning even more about the subject.
norman
Just to add to your torment Phil here is a link that you may have seen which is mighty fine for ogling the subject. dantheman
Look on the bright side, loads of time to inspect your motor, harness and wing with a fine tooth comb, maybe even repack your reserve. Also time to shop for the latest gadgets, install the latest maps to your GPS, plan your next flights once you get a window - keep an eye on the long range forecast.
