Guest
Does anyone have a link for air conditioning fan hubs and nylon blades? I had one on my Pap some years ago but cant find any record of where I got it. They are used on hevercraft and some paramotors as a retro fit. Guest
Are these any good to you Francis? http://www.multi-wing.co.uk/ http://www.hascon.it/en-US/WebSiteHascon/HasconWing.aspx Joe http://shoestringpilot.blogspot.com/
ArcusFlyer
The RAD MXL uses RA+ fan blades cut to a certain length (think they are made of GRP). You can buy them from RAD or direct from the London Fan Company (I picked them up from a workshop in Sheffield). I have sourced from both. Let me know if this is what you mean and I can give you more details.

Guest
It would appear so, yes. My specialism is GRP moulding and have made a start on the plug for the stator and swirl straightners. I am finding the mass flow calculations difficult, I have a spreadsheet from Marc de Piolenc which you might be able to make use of. I will Pm you with a link to it in a bit. I also have his thesis with full explanation of theory and detailed calculations (I am having to go back to school big time). You might be interested to read it. Pm your address but I will need it back. We might need to collaborate?

Mike
Pete, I flicked through it and noticed some high lighter pen marks then quickly flicked it off before l got a head ache, to much info just after dinner. If the thrust gets me off the ground l'm happy, if the motor keeps going l am even happier haha. see ya soon for some happy flying eh! pete_b
Yea but no but yea you have to know these things if you are going to put a prop off of something else on to your motor so that the angle of the dongle does not upset your speed sheet and open up a can of peas when you are doing a rectangle down at 4 inches of pressure on the water gage =2.5 bar over pressure +the weight of your cup of tea. See at all makes sense when some one explains it Pete b

I picked them up myself, they have a trade desk, they cut them to the specified length for my motor. http://www.beatson.co.uk/
