GaryPH
Oh wow! Nice one Alan. that one sentence is without doubt inspiring to not give up or listen to the main stream population! I have booked training with Simon for two weeks time! So all going well, I’ll be getting a good couple of flights in this year. next year, I want to fly from somewhere in Hampshire and try the Isle of Wight. Although many have said it’s going to be a bit bum twitchy, as flying hr Solent so may wait a couple of years first. Where are you based? .ga. "Twitchy" is part and parcel just don't be the dude who hides the fear from the guys (if you are flying with others) If your are overdosing on adrenaline, land, smoke, chill and let the guys take the piss... Flying with others is the fastest way to gain confidence and you will get looked after. Crossing water... I have thousands of hours and I am still wide-eyed whenever I do it

GaryPH
Oh right, looking at SW posts, looks like there are social gathering frequently. Be nice to meet more Paramotorists.. I’m a lone wolf. There is a guy who lives up the road, Zeb, who is great at giving me the answers to my questions. And gave me a bit of G/Handling training. I have friends in Cov. (Tile Hill) so there a couple of times a year.
