Looking to try paramotoring in Boise, ID

Recommended Posts

I'm really interested in getting an introduction to the sport. I'd prefer not to spend the money for a full training course until I've tried it. Is there something akin to a discovery flight? If it helps/matters, I'm about 106kg. I suspect that will limit tandem options (and, as I've looked at equipment, I recognize that it will limit my equipment options, as well).

I'm 120kg so don't feel bad.  Tandems shouldn't be much of a problem but your right about the equipment though.  It will just be more expensive to buy I have found with less options.  Used equipment is even harder to find in our size so it goes quick and for more money.

Look on Facebook for an instructor in your area.  I'm in New England and all the good ones I know offer some sort of taster course or flight.  Usually just a couple hundred bucks.

You may find you have to travel to to find someone.  That's pretty common.  Take a couple weeks off from work and travel down to aviator or some other place.  There are some good instructors in New York which is closer if your interested.
