helimed01
At the moment it looks as if we may get stuck in Cornwall on Tue and Wed due to wind and rain whilst the rest of the country enjoy dry weather light to moderate Southerlys Is it possible to go a day early, on the Monday and get out of the Southwest and beat the weather??? Just a thought. Regards Whitters.
norman
Not a bad call but I think the conclusion might be that to try and shift it up a gear and get out Monday would lose the PR and de-stabilize the operation. The calm of the morning or evening is another option. The Met office also say it is too early to make the call and be accurate. We'll soon see I guess. Guest
I second that. Based on Met Office saying its to early to say. SW
Guest
Also.... Looks here like there is a High floating South with a possible move North here. http://paramotorclub.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=743 SW
pete_b
As some one in the past said we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, Not even to a bit of bad weather Put you sun glasses on boys (it will help keep the rain out) Pete b
dantheman
I second that.Based on Met Office saying its to early to say. SW At the moment despite cloud there should be a (50/50) window for Tuesday afternoon once the front has passed, Met Office confirmed this so wait and see, wind currently favourable. One thing the Met Office did say was that it's unsettled (no kidding) so we are going to have to work a bit harder....
dantheman
That window is slowly closing as Tuesday approaches loads of moisture in the air with more weak fronts appearing.

dantheman
A new low pressure system is building to the southwest making the middle of the week look pretty bleak, it's going to bring heavy outbreaks of rain, just what the boys don't need. The Azores high is looking very very unlikely in the next few weeks
