pegasus1 Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 On Saturday I ran a race with 3500 other women to raise money for Cancer Research. Running beside me was Lizzie, who at 21 years old has been fighting skin cancer for the past 3 years. Together we crossed the finish holding hands and triumphant in our achievement in raising over £2000 between us. A huge thanks goes out to all those who so kindly and generously sponsored me for this race on line via a paramotor club link. You are all stars and to be there to hear peoples stories and read their messages to lost loved ones was quite overwhelming. (We felt even more chuffed with ourselves because we were at a serious party the night before with a lot of friends who were wishing us well and had only 2 hours sleep.
