Julien4788
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had experience in swapping engines. I am currently a beginner with around 43 flights flying with a ros125. I like the frame(even tough it seen better days) but i fear that the engine might break down eventually in a few years(i don't know how many hours it has or the year of manuacture) it might be cheaper to put a brand new engine on that frame. I know that when they were making those frames(in 2008) they made other brackets to fit bigger engines like the cisco c-max 175 on that same exact frame. So would it be conceivable to swap the engine for a moster 185? Would it be doable? I could make new brackets for it
Julien4788
Got in touch with the manufacturer of the frame and They told me it is very doable. They already put some moster's on these once
barkis
You can use any engine, just make adator plate but if you raplace the wear parts you can use your ros125 engine forever
