AndyB
Flew from Redcar steelworks along the coast to the Marske cliffs yesterday. Then another first for me. There was a lovely sea breeze and along the top of the cliffs I managed 20 minutes without the engine. Amazing to be just held in the air at a constant height. On the way back I climbed to over 2000 feet so I could go above the restricted airspace around the Hartlepool nuclear power station and I was rewarded with some amazing views over Teesside.
Vauxscott
Great views! That railway line looks really close to the edge.

The cliffs are amazing and are 400 feet the highest point. When the tide is out (so I have somewhere to go if engine out!) I like flying down below them, it is stunning to fly over the edge from flat fields at the top and then a sudden 400 foot drop.
