Torchy
Hi I'm wondering if anyone could help me identify make and model of a paramotor? Any help would be greatfully received. Edited May 2, 2019 by Torchy Added another picture

Torchy
Thanks guys I thought it was but got thrown a bit by the head. Theres no decompression hole in it and I'm having problems pull starting it. Any suggestions?
cas_whitmore
Never had a solo , might have a blocked comp’ bye pass hole above exhaust port , lots of motors have this system . Hole is about 3 or 4 mm dia’’

If you look at Dan's video at about 9.53 in you'll see decomp hole But before pulling the engine apart as it looks like it's not done many hours i'd check the timing to see exactly at what stage it's sparking.

cas_whitmore
Odd ‘ I’ve fitted a button de comp’ chainsaw type to a cylinder head in the past ‘ last resort thing but work fine ‘
Torchy
Hi cas I think the head has been replaced as it looks very clean inside. When I got the motor there was a decompression valve in a bag. But this head hasn't even got the port to fit that to. I'm wondering if the head is for an engine fitted with a starter motor.
cas_whitmore
Maybe find a engineer friend to fit decomp to the head ‘

JohnnyRocket
Jah, yah - It looks like my Solo. OK Han… I sure do wish that this wasn’t 5 years old post. MAHLE was the German company that made the Solo Engine’s before they sold out to HIRTH… Quote
