Wing and motor size

Hello 

I’m doing the club pilot hill to Paramotor conversion this spring.

I need advice on wing and motor size I weigh 83 Kg

Thanks for the reply.Im looking at size at the moment then I will start researching the manufacturers.

so I need a wing between 90 - 140 kg ?

That will be an Ozone Roadster 3, 28 m if you like floating, or 26 m if you like a bit quicker.

Difference in speed between the 26 and 28 is only between 1.5 and 2.0 kph according to my calculations. I think the only noticeable change would be running a bit faster on takeoff in nil wind scenarios. If you're fit, no issues for the smaller wing. Richard

Excellent beginner to intermediate wing Dudek Universal 1.1 easy to launch, and at your weight in flavour 28 would be just right, And No i'm not connected to Dudek in anyway :D.

I only have 25 hours and got frustrated with the weather that’s why I’m doing the conversion to paramotor just had The Powergliding Bible delivered.

For give me if this is totally stupid question and jumping on this post. 

I also just go the Powered Paragliding Bible and read up to Chapter 9 Airspace.  Am I right thinking this covers mostly US Airspace?  How similar is that to UK Airspace, Should I skip that for the moment and focus on the UK or keep reading as there is not much difference?

I know I will find this out sooner or later but could not help myself asking here.  Hope you don't mind?
