Sub 70 kg "nanolight"

Recommended Posts

There is a new hang glider called a "nanolight" because it is in the sub 70 kg, deregulated class. In theory this can be flown without any training. However, the pilot must have insurance. I don't know whether the insurers have decided what training they will require yet.

Looks awesome, could replace my ideas around my second aircraft being a paramotor trike...

Only downside is as a ex weight shift microlight pilot the main benifit is the 2nd seat...

Still very low cost way to get airborne and would be much quicker.
