AndyB
There is a new hang glider called a "nanolight" because it is in the sub 70 kg, deregulated class. In theory this can be flown without any training. However, the pilot must have insurance. I don't know whether the insurers have decided what training they will require yet. https://www.flyer.co.uk/peabee-ready-new-nanolight-sub-70kg-class/
e2vdavidb
Looks awesome, could replace my ideas around my second aircraft being a paramotor trike... Only downside is as a ex weight shift microlight pilot the main benifit is the 2nd seat... Still very low cost way to get airborne and would be much quicker.
Trevsked
I really like these and the Eurofly Snake. Great that you don’t need a hangar too. Trevor.
Atko
The Peabee's are lovely. Chap in our group has one. Only downsides for me is it seems to take him a while to put together from trailer, its only a bit faster than the paramotor trike set up and you can't take a passenger. Trevsked
Think I'd have one as an addition to my paramotor as opposed to instead of. Interesting that you say it's only a little faster than the paramotor trike, I assume the trike is faster than a regular paramotor then? Trevor. admin (Simon W)
Think back Trev.... If you increase the load but keep the wing the same size... what's one of the things that happens? SW
Trevsked
Yep just assumed a larger wing on the trike setup and didn't think it would be any quicker as a result. Given that info Simon, once I let the trimmers out all the way I should be licking along then Trevor.
