OliD
I am intending to store my paramotor in a relatively dry garage. Does anyone have any advice on additional steps that can be taken to minimise risk of damage over Winter?
geoffw
Relatively dry if that means damp or dampish garage that's a no no to keep it safe and in good condition it must be dry, Iam not this lucky but in the lounge would be nice. BenM
Apart from mould what would damp cause ?
Mitch130
I am led to believe that carb diaphrams , primer pumps and fuel lines don't like drying out . I try to fly all year round but if the weather is stopping me for any length of time I prime the carb and turn over the engine.
admin (Simon W)
ASPEN2 is an amazing fuel for 2 strokes. It is BRILLIANT for storage as well. When I purchased some, I was told by a rep that for garden stuff, Chainsaws, and so on to ensure the carb is FULL and it will start in the spring! ( I have been using this in this method now for around 3 years in my garden stuff ) If it was not so expensive I would 100% use it in the Paramotor!! (They all do in Sweden) I would say, buy a gallon of it, fill the carb and fuel system with ASPEN and block and little holes you don't want spiders nests in, and your good to go! My Chainsaw started yesterday second pull for the first time in about 8 months sat in a shed. https://aspenfuel.co.uk/ SW

I only fly using Aspen and absolutely no degradation of fuel lines etc.
