admin (Simon W)
Begs the question, is it worth the risk? Aside from the fact that it's open to being robbed or tampered with while you stop for a poo and a brew. This happened in Thailand.
AndySV1K
As long as that's one of them super paramotors that has crumple zones it will be fine to keep flying 1
Casper
Naa crumple zone is made to be destroyed to save you from the impact. Say what you want about that dude, but the fundamental design is not all that bad, especially if you fly with the philosophy that a cage should protect you somewhat in the event of a hard impact. I live and fly by another philosophy, that you should never have that impact in the first place, and that agility with light weight machines saves you more since you are strapped to the machine and just have to deal with it in worst case scenario. But yeah, damn nightmare to see your precious equipment get mangled like that. Fell sorry for the pilot.
AndyB
You maybe right about agility of lighter machines. I switched to a lightweight machine and saved 10 kg. At the same time I lost 12 kg myself. I don't think I can really tell any difference. I only pootle around.
