Kausik
Does reflex wing shorten the taking off distance significantly? Does it have any advantages over non-reflex in inflation on no-wind? Would you please share your experiences?
Dariuszk24
When takeoff reflex wing doesn't have any advantage over standard non reflex wing-need longer run than standard wing Only one advantage is more collapse proof in turbulent air thanks to construction. powerlord
Hmm, well each wing is different, but most reflex wings I've flown don't overshoot on pull up like pg wings do. I.e. On a forward launch there's no need to jump on the brakes to stop the wing overshooting and collapsing. with pg wings I've flown they do tend to overshoot. so that's one difference imho. christian
Quote Only one advantage is more collapse proof in turbulent air thanks to construction. Reflex wings are less likely to collapse, but when they do, it will be more dynamic.
