GR002
I just noticed on Polini web site the spark plug caps on the 130 and 200 have 5 ohm resistance but the spark plugs are of the resistor type as well. I was surprised at this as I thought it would be one or the other. I just went out and bought a non resistor cap for our Polini 100 as it had a resistor type spark plug before I noticed this. I take It ignition systems like a certain resistance, any input greatly appreciated. Apart from may be radio interference will there be any other problems ? powerlord
5k ohm is the usual value. It supresses radio noise. Makes a difference with radios or even some cameras taking video, etc. And yeh it's usually one or other not both..strange. https://www.ngksparkplugs.com/about-ngk/faqs/spark-plug-faqs/when-should-i-use-a-resistor-spark-plug
