craigo198
the small piece of metal that springs the carabiner closed (not the twisty spring to keep it closed) I would assume this would still be considered safe to fly as long as you make sure its closed before flying. Once its closed it stays that way. Is there a tutorial on how to repair it? I cant seem to get that piece of metal back in.https://goo.gl/photos/6dJsKXGd8pJuLGeE9 Edited March 10, 2017 by craigo198
admin (Simon W)
Personally, I would treat myself to a set of shiny new ones to help reduce paranoia while flying SW
Steve
They should be treated as service items so replacing them is a no-brainer. Deep scratches and nicks should be considered a reason to replace so if they have started falling to bits then I'd say they are due for renewal.
