David Gray
55 year old no experience at all but dreaming of flying a para motor. Anyone local I can discuss this with or want to buddy up to climb this learning curve? Thinking of buying an old wing to work on wing handling in advance of some structured tuition. Good or bad idea? I have kite surfed so some kite handling experience but obviously very different... Any ideas on time and cost to reach independent flight capability? admin (Simon W)
Cost around £1000 Buying an old wing pre lessons (bad idea) you will just need to unlearn what you thought you were learning in most cases lol We are at Membury Airfield near Swindon if that helps Welcome to the Paramotor Club! David Gray
Morgy, I'd love to come over and see you guys flying some time. Where do you fly from? Anywhere in West Sussex is easily reached and I am so keen to see this at first hand.
