Jo Payne of the W & N Air Ambulance is seeking to get in touch to co-ordinate fundraising activities to co-incide with the tip to tip event. possibilities include the landing of the ambulance at the night stop and local activities involving paramotorists and other local events.

Please can I have names of pilots in this area who want to get involved.

NB this is "direct fund raising" for the local ambulance and is additional to and separate from the sponsorship deals that the tip to tip has organised.

Also non-pilots or wannabe pilots or PGers (or any one else) are warmly welcomed to join in.

Need to know the date and night stop location and fueling stops in Warwickshire, Nottinghamshire Leicestershire and Birmingham area.

If might stop not yet known then they might know somewher we could use.

Sorry if I should know this already but I dont know how firm the route is or what stops have been finalised.

i.e get their media contacts along to where?

Hi Francis,

Please hook up with Norman or Terry who have the full route as it stands at the moment. We have all seen it on day 2 of Dartmoor training. things like this are now all that need to be arranged.

As soon as people become interested enough to get involved (eg the above Air ambulance) we can change the route / media attention accordingly :D

It may well work better for Norman if you suggest your suggested LZ so that he can see if it works into the existing route with not to much bother.

Looking at it Francis but policy has it that precise dates will be difficult to meet. Birmingham area should be around day 3/4 and as Simon mentioed, if you have sites in mind let us know and we can sequence them in. After having looked at Scotland again, I a back at John O'Groats working my way East filling in detail and writing up the briefing docs. It will be a little while before I 'make it'

to the Midlands so there is time yet to hack things about to suit without creating a load of graft.

Happy to look at anything that enhances....
