alan_k Posted December 16, 2016 Share Posted December 16, 2016 Went to the new field this afternoon to see how the conditions were. Southerly breeze so that was good, if it was westerly I'd be flying into the adjacent ATZ which I want to avoid. Took off easily and did a recce of the surrounding hazards, then flew around the local fields for a little while. Came back to the T/O field to asses the landing phase then set off again due south. However there was a very low cloud bank appeared after a short time so opted for the safe option of returning to the field and landing. Still at least I got a maiden flight in of 30 minutes, plus the weather is showing clearer conditions tomorrow. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
