jonathan.cox
Good Morning I have decided I would like to take up paramotoring. I live in Oxford which seems a bit flat for paragliding. I have done a fair bit of research and now think it's time to give it a try. Is it worth doing a taster lesson first? It also seems some schools do considerably less theory than others. I think the theory is pretty important so would like to pick a school that is going to teach me everything I need to know. sabre2005
Hi Johnathan, welcome to the forum. I would recommend doing a tandem flight if possible (it will hook you there and then)! Chances are you will get to ground handle a wing anyway whilst at the field and also get the opportunity to have a go at steering yourself around the sky with the instructor! Neilzy
Why not come along to the Bore Chasers event 16th Sept you may be able to get a tandam and see what it's all about for real. Great bunch of flyers well friendly and all willing to talk about Paramotoring.
