Leg pulled starter cord

Hi Everyone

I have a hand pulled starter cord but finding it difficult to start and would find it almost impossible to start in mid flight. So I've been suggested to fit a leg pulled starter cord.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Has anyone fitted one to an existing had pulled cord? Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks,

Simon

Hi Simon,

There are a few old Pap machines that had this as standard from factory.

Mechanically it's as simple as you would imagine (a pull chord re-route, may need longer starting chord) mount it safely where you want it and hey presto! You too can now do the one legged turtle dance.

It may be worth looking at your existing routing to see if it needs a small tweak to make it easier to pull start by hand?

Good luck!

SW :D
