View Advert Parajet Volution 2 - Polini Thor 130 Parajet Volution 2 - Polini Thor 130 Very solid paramotor for sale. Quick and easy to transport, take apart/set-up and fly! I have recently re-built the engine (new cylinder, cylinder head, crankshaft (with new top and bottom bearings), piston head, rings and gaskets). I have changed the gear oil, air filter and spark plug as well. I have also upgraded the carburettor to the larger Polini 24mm PWK to help keep the engine cooler with a slight added power boost! Since the above, the engine has been worn in on the ground and had 1 hours flight time and feels great! Hello all, a few weeks ago I started an introduction course paragliding at a flying school in zwolle, at the moment I am orientating for the purchase of a para motor set. I can buy a set with a new engine from Polini (thor 100) only, I can not find a supplier on the world wide internet where I can buy spare parts. At least until now, curiously, I find almost no information about this polini engine, now my concrete help question: Does anyone know why I can not find information about this engine? and where can I find and buy parts of this engine? thank you for your advice, (translation by google) Marc

Hi there. I am having some issues with my polini thor 100. I've done about 30 hours on it since acquiring it second hand, previous amount of hours were unknown. Brief history: Was prone to fuel starving (presumably) if not primed correctly. Had been flying a revo 2 26m wing which wasn't too demanding on the motor so this never starved, then a 24m gtx which had no issues, started flying an itv wing and I had a load of problems, mainly maintenance issues all of which are now remidied with a carb rebuild, new gearbox gaskets and some bearings. Went for the first flight on 6 months and the motor cut out just after climbing altitude, the motor had been up for 20mins. Can someone advise me on how the fuel system should be setup, there's a kink just before the prime bulb which may be the root of my problem, is there any reason to not replace the fuel lines to the same thick gauge that's used above the prime bulb? There appears to be thin tubing, then thick tubing after the bulb. Also is the high point a problem? Air often seems to get trapped in their however this may be due to restricted fuel flow because of the kink. Any help or pictures of setups would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have a Polini Thor 2oo Evo engine. With a Bing carburettor fitted. The engine has always had a little problem, engine runs fine from tick over all the way up to 4900 rpm and from 6100 and higher. However the engine runs rough between these two power settings. If I make the smallest throttle movement the revs will run rough and if I keep making small increases in power I get to a point where the power band kick in and it jumps up to 6000 rpm and runs sweet as a nut. unfortunately for me at 6100rpm The aircraft wants to climb and I can’t maintain a level flight and 4900 the aircraft will descend. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Polini Thor 200 - Problem with RPMs between 5000 and 6000
Pablo Azorin posted a topic in Paramotors.
I'm having some troubles to keep the rpms stable between 5200 and 6200 rpms in my Polini Thor 200 Evo. I tried replacing the Walbro carb for a FreshBreeze Bing carb, but nothing changed. The engine works properly in the whole rpms range except from 5200 to 6200. For instance: with the the engine running at 5000 rpms, when I add a slightly more throttle nothing happens. I add more throttle and nothing. And then I add a bit more, and it suddenly goes to 6200-6300 rpms. The same on the opposite way. After take-off, I climb at around 6500 rpms. When I want to cruise, I reduce the throttle just a little and rpms drop to 5000. It's almost impossible to keep it somewhere in between 5200 and 6200 rpms. Is this a common problem on this engine? What can I do to resolve this issue? -
Hi all, I've got a Thor 80 with the standard Polini CP carb. Reading up on this, they offer a Walbro WG8 for a little more money. Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences on why the Walbro would be better, what would be the improvement, any downsides and would I even notice? Thanks Danny

Hi. I'm looking for a used motor, I would prefer something that needs work! I don't necessarily need the frame but I may also consider. I'm considering any motor such as Moster 185, Polini Thor 190 etc that may even be on its last legs. I live in Tampa Florida but I might consider offers from further away. Thank you
