Hello, I will be traveling to Ireland in July of 2018 and am trying to find out the rules of flying a trike while I am there. I currently fly a Fresh Breeze, Bullix 4T with a Macpara Charger wing and have about 200 hrs in a trike and quad combined. It would be a dream come true to be able to fly in Ireland while I am there. I am wondering if there is a school or another option that may be feasible to find a unit to fly while visiting. Wind dependent of course. I do have a PPG2 license and a current medical card. We are not required to have insurance in America so I currently do not have any. Any and all information is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Mark
Hi all, wonder if any of you can help please. I have a fresh breeze Airboss 122 with a wingman harness. The problem I am having is the place I have my kick in strap attached is now starting to fray the strap that supports the front of the seat board. See attached photos. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can attach the strap so it won't get any worse? Thanks, Rob
untilOur year kicks off with our great flyin event near Exmoor Nartional Park..The event will be held near Tiverton at Spencers farm. For those who joined us last year, will remember some great flying on Exmoor and the Mindhead coastline. The event is open to all insured pilots.Entrance fee is £20, with 50% of the proceeds going to Help for Heroes the rest going to the nice farmer who let us use his fields and hot showers and running toilets. https://www.facebook.com/events/486955348182498/ for more information.
Hi everyone, I had my prop belt tensioning bolt shear tonight on my Fresh Breeze solo 210 (luckily while warming up) so I removed the reduction drive assembly, to remove the broken stud and the main bearing feels worn. Does anyone know how to remove the old bearing? Can I just use a puller or is there something else I should do first? Cheers
