  1. I have been holding my breath for months, not being able to talk about this new engine. Very excited, it is not for everyone, it is also not replacing the Nitro. We feel the majority of pilots suit the Nitro 200. This new engine the Tornado 280 is breaking new ground again. Larger capacity bore and stroke giving 35hp is going to be great for larger pilots finally wanting a light weight engine. Launched on the weekend at the U.S. Beach Blast 2017 to a fair bit of Facebook chatter. Public sales will start in September. I hope to have one end of June. It has been in thorough testing since 2016, flown in various climates in other countries. While the layout looks very similar, many parts are upgraded to account for the extra power. Who is it aimed at? It's going to reach out to the slalom guys on hankies, plus larger pilots who can then fly normal wing sizes while wanting to carry less weight. Ultimately I hope it could help push the whole sport forward for everyone. With more power it is easier to fly smaller wings, go further in less time. I can already easily launch and live with a wing smaller than I used to fly. With more power I can drop a size again. I'm on 19m as a 13.5 stone pilot. Some friends fly 15-17m easily, not crazed slalom nutters. So, How light is it? much the same weight as the Nitro. The Tornado 280 is 11.7kg for the pull start version. Available as electric start and electric start with clutch. (electric start one about 12.2kg, I don't have exact numbers yet) Thrust? 125cm props are working well and it can also run on the 150cm XL prop for maximum power. A few more combinations to try before a number is put out there.
  2. Hi, looking to buy my first kit soon once my training is completed. In the meantime, I'm doing information recon. Most of the eos engine threads are dead and left unfinished, so I made an account to get some feedback from the community on them since I cant find any information from this year. How have the EOS engines evolved? Is there support still no good? Are there still quite a few problems with them, or have some of the kinks been worked out? How is there durability, reliability, maintenance, support? EOS owners, if you could go back in time, would you still buy the EOS? I'm drawn to them because they have more power than the atom/top 80 while remaining light, but I dont want to make a mistake. Please advise. Thanks Edit: Just found an EOS 150 thread with some recent info, still seeking some on the EOS 100/booster though, or anything else relevant you all would like to share on these subjects.   3. Hello all, a few weeks ago I started an introduction course paragliding at a flying school in zwolle, at the moment I am orientating for the purchase of a para motor set. I can buy a set with a new engine from Polini (thor 100) only, I can not find a supplier on the world wide internet where I can buy spare parts. At least until now, curiously, I find almost no information about this polini engine, now my concrete help question: Does anyone know why I can not find information about this engine? and where can I find and buy parts of this engine? thank you for your advice, (translation by google) Marc
  4. Hey So in the process of rebuilding my Solo 210 (Nirvana Electric Paramotor) I've managed to drop the flywheel. The result of this was about half of the magnets popping off. Lucky they are not damaged and I should be able to epoxy them back on. My issue is the engine timing is based off the single non-magnet in the ring of magnets. Since they came off I don't know where the non-magnet was originally. I have struggled to find any technical information (beyond an exploded diagram) on this engine let alone the magneto. Does any one know where the non-magnet should be in the ring? The flywheel itself is keyed. I've attached some pictures below. Thanks
  5. I'm having some troubles to keep the rpms stable between 5200 and 6200 rpms in my Polini Thor 200 Evo. I tried replacing the Walbro carb for a FreshBreeze Bing carb, but nothing changed. The engine works properly in the whole rpms range except from 5200 to 6200. For instance: with the the engine running at 5000 rpms, when I add a slightly more throttle nothing happens. I add more throttle and nothing. And then I add a bit more, and it suddenly goes to 6200-6300 rpms. The same on the opposite way. After take-off, I climb at around 6500 rpms. When I want to cruise, I reduce the throttle just a little and rpms drop to 5000. It's almost impossible to keep it somewhere in between 5200 and 6200 rpms. Is this a common problem on this engine? What can I do to resolve this issue?

Hello, I need some help to decide btw this two engines: Polini 190 light and Vittorazi Moster 185 I will appreciate some comments regarding real weight, trust, fuel consumption, noise, vibration, and whatever you consider relevant for this decision.
