  1. So how do you intend to keep flying with all the restrictions then??
  2. Hi Aaron. Bought this Airfer from a guy up in the Midlands (i think). 4 years ago or so on ebay. Had been proper battered. Rebuilt the whole frame. Bent chassis. Few cracked welds. Got it with an ITV WING. Very nice little engine. Nick
  3. its a superdell machine. Bet there wasnt a scratch on it. Good job he wasnt flying one of those other 'death traps'. Imagine the fatalities!
  4. Dell is absolutely addictive in his own strange way. I love watching his videos and reading what he says because he talks utter bollocks which is a shame as he is a skilled pilot. He deserves all the crap he gets given but i would hate to see the back off him. Mental deranged lunatic that he is.
  5. Thank you very much for the invite Matt but cant do tomorrow morning. Was going to go this afternoon but all my fields are stubble and waterlogged. Will maybe go tomorrow afternoon if conditions are better on the fields. Forecast is the for bollocks for sun.. Have a good one.
  6. Whats your facebook page called. Am ESSEX based. Nick
  7. First flight for a few weeks tonight over the blackwater. Up first time, great visibility. Combine harvesters going ten to the dozen below and still really warm . Now the crops been cut, loads of flying fields available. Let hope the weather lasts. Nick
  8. I had Hathor Symphony that i bought brand new 10 years ago with a DK Whisper paramotor. I dId all my training and first flights on this wing in Slovakia. Incredibly easy to launch and land . Seriously slow but i liked it. Went from that to a Paramania Revolution. Wow! What a difference. loved this wing. Getting a speedster soon. Happy days. I love flying. Nick
  9. Hi. I have been flying a paramania Revolution for a few years now and am looking to purchase a new wing soon. I have heard alot of good reports on both the Revo 2 and the Ozone Speedster but am undecided about which one to go for. Any help please on this matter. Thanks. Nick
  10. Unfortunately they are rare as hens teeth.Owned one years ago. Bought a job lot of spares (new pistons, gaskets, barrells etc) and had my hand ripped off for them. Shame as they are nice units in either the twin or single. Know a few guys who still run them and they do struggle to get parts. Nick
  11. Heres some pics of my airfer swing arm. As you can see they are a one piece design and unwelded. Hollow in construction with a nylon insert through the centre which SHOULD give immense strength. God knows why it should break where it did. Just one other thing, original pic shows non factory welding on frame so who knows, may have suffered damage previously which resulted in fracture of arm. Also, agree with others, billet would be best but nothing is unbreakable. Nick
  12. On my machine{pap} i have just purchased a new kill switch. Great, all works well. Just wondering, is this type of switch a 'push to break' or 'push to make'? Also, can these mini switches be purchased anywhere else besides paramotor dealers? Many thanks. Nick
  13. Got a flight in on sat afternoon to test my new contour headcam. First flight for a few months due to shite weather. Amazing. Hardly a breath of wind and almost perfect bright visability. Got up first time and had a lovely fly along the blackwater in maldon. Also up with me was a mad git in a light aircraft just feet above the water and also a microlite. 25 mins and my fingers were getting seriously cold so had to call it a day. A beautiful day to be up in the sky. Nick
  14. Thinking of getting a contour hd video camera. If anyone else is using one or similar , what spec does my pc have to be up to to process it.? Got to get a new pc anyway. Thanks . Nick
  15. Hi Simon. I havent adjusted my harness but can i do this to minimise the torque steer and how would i go about this? Many thanks. Nick
  16. Had a great flight this afternoon. Perfect conditions which led to an easy launch and smooth flight. Problem is, i take off as usual with trimmers in and fly for a bit till i have a bit of height and while in this position i need the slightest bit of right brake to counteract the torque effect but when i release them half way i need alot more right brake which seems excessive. Any ideas or suggestions on this please.if its any help i fly an airfer with low hangpoints. Thanks .Nick
  17. i got one in an Airfer. Apart from the clutch, its been fantastic and super quiet. Havent had to do anything to it and it always starts. Nick
  18. hmmmmm..... ive seen this stuff being used and i must say it looks impressive but as a tig welder myself i wouldnt put massive confidence in its finished strength. but.... saying that, if it gets you out of trouble on say a cage then fair enough but i would limit it to this and wouldnt use it on anything load bearing. Nick
  19. How much is the weekend going to cost also any other info please? Ta
  20. Went for a fly tonight and when i decided to land i pulled my trimmers in but they just slid out again. Great. This made me come in like an F16 ,luckily on my feet. On inspection the buckles dont seem to have much power in the springs so it wont bite down on the fabric hard enough. Has anyone encountered this and is there a fix? Nick
