  3. I find the vittorazi throttle takes up all my fingers no matter how I hold the throttle?

Sounds like you have grounded out your coil, remove the wire connected to your coil, should only be one,and be careful pulling off your cap to stop the engine, you will get a nasty shock if it gets you
  5. Today I received an email from vittorazi regarding my exhaust, For what concern the silencer, I inform you that it is nothing dangerous or worrying. I'm sorry it's not aesthetically beautiful but he colour is due to the leak of exhaust gases inside the silencer where there is silicone. Nothing changes in terms of performance or noise. Only the colour changes because the exhaust gases come into contact with the anodization and cause the silencer to change colour. After the first versions we changed the way of assembly in addition to the silicone inside the silencer. In fact, this no longer occurs.“ So, it is not dangerous and there is nothing wrong with the engine. So that's that, on a brighter note, skymax are sending me the service parts to address the mandatory service bulletins and bring my motor up to date, so all's well that ends well
  6. I've contacted skymax, hopefully it won't be an issue with the engine not being in warranty, fingers crossed
  7. I haven't had any issues with throttling as yet touch wood, but I would like the improved exhaust mounting mod, as I have read of a pilot that had complete bracket failure which caused the exhaust to swing down and impact his prop in flight, luckily he was able to make a safe landing.
  8. After the problem with my exhaust on my atom 80, i checked the vittorazi website only to find the engine has 2 mandatory service bulletins, and got me thinking if the service bulletins are mandatory should vittorazi NOT be contacting all dealers/owners of said engines with the upgrades needed to bring engine back to the serviceable level they deem to be right??, As it states the new parts must be fitted before the next flight.
  9. Yes bud I'll show you the exhaust next time
  10. I think so I fly with Jamie, ha ha didn't know it was you mark
