  1. Hi Stuart, It gives me some confidence to know that you have managed to acquire more than one site mate. Excellent idea about the aerial photo (probably framed) which is a nice gesture. But do you pay a yearly/monthly fee as well to keep flying there on a regular basis. Thanks Ifty
  2. Hi Guys, I was hoping to approach a local farmer about a field he owns, to see if he would be willing to let me use it for paramotoring. Could anyone please advice on how best to negotiate/offer etc so that i have the best chance of succeeding. Thanks in advance IFTY.
  3. LOL SIR YES SIR. I was really hoping to make lots of new enemies and going home black and blue. But only for YOU I won't bother Dave, thanks LOL.
  4. Neilzy - The Sky Atis 3 wing is one of my favourite wings to fly, however, I have been paragliding over the weight limit so had to replace it as dieting is getting too hard lol. Wishing you many safe and enjoyable flights mate. Meds - Just getting started and need to build my experience so not thinking of any fly-ins just yet but I will definitely join you in the future (God willing). In the meantime, if you're in the Manchester area then send me a PM as me and a few friends have a field next to the Birch Services on the M62 from which we fly. Take care and fly safe. edit: now that you have mentioned it, I will try to attend as it sounds like a good laugh.
  5. Thanks guys. Took a while to get flying as I did have an injury two years ago with a RAD attempting my first motor flight but glad I managed to get over my motoring fears eventually. Upgraded my Sky Atis 3 with a Ozone Rush 3 for paragliding which leaves the Atis free for paramotor use. Have had a 3rd flight last weekend with a 22 mile XC from which I'm still buzzing. After pestering you for a while Dave I've finally done it. Had to settle for a FT160 since the Ninja was not possible for me, reasons which you know lol. You are welcome to fly my wing anytime Dave, no problem at all.
  6. Hi, I have a peltor headset and have been trying it with my puxing 888 radio and it doesn't seem to work. What radio will I have to purchase to work with the peltor? My friend Tim has a MicroAvionics helmet and he has the same problem as me. Maybe we need to buy a PMR radio instead. I'll keep on looking on how to resolve this issue.
  7. Just ordered this retractable mirror. Hopefully should do the trick. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390388849026? ... 97.c0.m619
  8. Thanks for all your help guys. Nigel... didn't know you sold it to be honest or else i would have rang you first. I'll get a few more hours of flying under my belt and see how it all goes. Maybe I'll manage without it and need only a mirror like Gordon has said. All advice taken aboard.
  9. Hi guys, I've come across this fuel gauge gadget and was wondering if anyone has used it. It's 99 euro + shipping. What do you think? Or if you can suggest an alternative one which you have personally used. Thanks. http://www.parapilots.nl/en/contributor ... nk-sensor/

  11. Saw this on YT and thought I'd share it.
  12. They sure are Dave lol. Flat top and K2 for me mate. Dell's a phenomenal talent when it comes to paramotoring so I only want to fly what he fly's.... simple (without the attitude lol). Not everyone liked Mohammed Ali but no one questioned his talent as he was one of the greats in his chosen sport. Dell's just super (lol) confident in his flying and his product so good for him, what's wrong with that. As long as I get what I want out of a paramotor, I'm not bothered what he does with his mouth. He is American after all so nothing surprises me about his behaviour lol. BTW I didn't realise I have started a new topic LOL. What the hell have I pressed. I must have clicked 'New Topic' instead of 'Post Reply'. I was simply replying to the newbie topic below, sorry guys.
  13. I have been paragliding for over 2 years and have been around paramotoring guys for over a year now. There are very few video's that I have missed on YT and follow this thread on almost a daily basis. Dell is definately not everyone's cup of tea but he is an excellent pilot and instructor. A friend of mine who has now emigrated to Australia bought a flat top 200 before her went and I can tell you it's a fantastic & quality built machine. Farmer Dave has also done pretty well with his machine for the last 3 years. Like I said each to their own. My only wish for everyone is to be safe and well, whichever machine they decide to fly.
  14. Seems like a fairly safe and stable wing to me but each to their own I suppose.
  15. Preferably looking for a pap ros 125 or any make but with a simonini engine. Must be very reliable and in excellent condition. Will bring a friend along for inspection who knows paramotors inside out. Cash on collection. 07912616183.
  16. I have spoken to him a few times on the phone but the paramotor is somewhere in a warehouse in Essex and the wing in suffolk apparently. However, I have offered him £2500, see what happens.
  17. Thanks a lot Pete. Dam, this is a difficult one but there are many people who do take paramotors abroad and so hopefully an easy method will come up somehow i'm sure. Anyway, if i find out, i will let you know as well. PEACE.
  18. Hi guys, My aim is to take a paramotor abroad. What is the procedure for transportation. Can it go as part of the luggage or does it have to sent seperately by cargo? If yes, then what are the costs etc? Cheers IFTY.
  19. Hi Guys, I had my heart set on the FLAT TOP, however, the exchange rate is destroying that dream. I need to start thinking of an alternative and have been looking at a few available in the market. I am around 90KG and stand at 5ft 9in. What brand of paramotor would you guys recommend and Why?. The choices are : PAP, Bailey (4 stroke), Walkerjet or the Parajet. I am new to this forum and so would appreciate your suggestions. PEACE .
