  1. thanks guys...i called parajet and they said its prob a flooded engine etc.. and told me to remove the head gasket and exhaust and empty the fuel out...the carbs were fine from the airbox side but the fuel that came out was not much.needless to say the engine was meant to have done only 15 hrs from new but the pistons and other parts inside were all burnt so am now guessing a tad rich mix. upshot is after cleaning the heads and chamber etc its firing nicely but tickovers slightly fast now.. prob need to put the blades on and check.... ho hum n all that...
  2. ok cap in hand and suck eggs time but have gone a bit blank here.. my parajet macro was ok last november time..ish and started up ok (had some fun running around the field with it just before the light went) but for some reason it wont start now and fire up.no settings have been changed and although the batts flat it has been replaced and a new plug put in,and fresh fuel etc now the interesting thing is that it pees out fuel from the exhaust and sometimes bubbles by the carb which to me may indicate a gasket gone. the plugs are ok and fuel seems to go around but drips from the exhaust.. am i overlooking something completely simple here.. tia

  5. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/paramotor-wing_W0 ... 286.c0.m14 this whole setup is for £1000 and only local to simon in newbury so is it one of you guys??????? if so whats the deal???
  6. couldn't find the watch in question. looked around the lidl site but maybe i wasn't clicking on the right area?think i'll just pop down there this weekend to see if i can find one.
  7. Costing of a wing is not the main concern of what one to buy it's the safety of it and reliability.Cars can fail even though they have gone through check after check pass and sit waiting for us to buy it. Simply put i'd get a cheaper wing if it was certified by the guys that check all these high priced wings and cut out the 3 or 4 possible middle-men that bump up the price.I'd still be concerned for my safety while in the air but if a replica was made to the same standards all other wings were made and had passed why pay more for an other original wing?? We all go on the principle that if it costs loads of dosh it is reliable?/safe?/trustworthy?/value-for-money when in reality it's coz we pay the prices asked that's what is charged. Fare enough the cost to invent design and constantly upgrade the wing 'technology' as this costs in someones elses time/money but this would have been incorporated in the prices so i say cut out the middle-man make simon a distributor ... lol Just a final thought.. could we not possibly get your other half simon to utilise the sewing machine and you cut out shapes and make youor own ' copy ' just tie a few bits of string to it and hey-ho you have an original wing in the making
  8. true true lol but i guess if i had bad case of kebab meat night before i guess may have the same old wind problem again.....
  9. how long does a wing like this normally last?? how heavy can this wing take also as i'm kinda on the cuddly side lol and mostly is it still around to be taken??
  10. how much experience is needed to join in the flight route on this trip as sounds like a heap of fun but alas no experience as such but 2 years...... hmmmm that could change. Details of costs etc would be good too.
  11. does anyone know how much tickets are or is it free? never been there so don't know
