  1. The Pull starter is connected direct to the crank so will turn the engine over.. Not sure how the clutch is engaging or why you would think that it has anything to do with the clutch??? The Flash does not need to be "pulled" A simple series of 3 small tugs will engage the flash. Try looking at it while slowly tugging on the Pull chord and you will see it wind up then release and turn the crank over.. Try just pulling with one finger (this is enough) to engage the flash.... Most causes for non starting or issues with starting are due to Wrong Mixture settings or flooding... I have a 250 so not the same as the 100-130 etc as mine has a PWK carb.. If you think your flooding it, Prime as normal, Open the throttle fully then pull over slowly 3-4 times (you may get a little Kick) then one hard firm pull... If this sorts it out your over priming, "prime less" If not check mixture, We have a few 130's locally and all are easy to start.. Hope that helps
  2. Have a look on XC planner and all should become clear.. The black squares are the stubs form wittering.. The red circle is GVS (Gas Venting station) peterborough SFC-5000ft...
  3. You might like to have a look at XC planner, I use this all the time to plan XC's and XC records.. Simple to use, Make sure you have an up to date Air map to check the airspace is correct when flying or planning. https://xcplanner.appspot.com/
  4. My commnmts were in no way having a go At P jet, I am a Parajet dealer after all and have had nothing but good service from them, Saying that I am in many ways like simon, I don't take any BS if there is a problem it needs sorting and sorting fast!! Kiwi, I am not a lawyer and i was going from experience of a local guy who had a simo in a CZ made Paramotor.. He had many issue with His starter breaking constantly, then the belts would shred every 5 hours, He had too send it back every time, Are EU consumer rights different? His issues did end up in small claims court, Even tho he bought it form a Uk dealer he had too allow them to fix every issue 3 times for it to be deemed as not fit for purpose, Long story short, he never got all of his money back as he had played with it buy trying to fix it but was compensated... Maybe the laws have changed?? this was around 2009 We all know how frustrating problems are especially on a new machine or buying spares in the UK, One big reason i started up Sussex Paramotors! Anyway Back to Asquaddie's topic Hopefully this will be a distant memory very soon.
  5. No problem... Offer is there.... I doubt the Warranty will be extended unless it goes back too Vottorazi and was rebuilt... Saying that If you have ben unable to fly it for X weeks/months A good will gesture of a slight increase in the warranty wouldn't hurt them and would be the right thing to do... Call up P Jet i am sure they will sort you out..
  6. I'm 73kg flying a 250... I'm built like a stick and have no issues with a 250... Unless i have a full 19ltr Tank then i do need some wind to get off.. But i will be flying 300km+ 250 will blow all the above engines away on Power and Fuel burn...
  7. I would fully check out your "consumer" rights.. Manufacturers have rights as well, By all means take it back to Parajet but i think you will find they have 3 attempts to rectify the problem, Every separate issue will have 3 chances.. if your exhaust breaks, 3 exhausts, Starter X3 all with the same fault etc etc Not fit for purpose can only be taken to court once you have given them a chance to fix it.. DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO MODIFY!!! If this Moster engine has a bearing fault or blows up next time he fly's it, This does not make it unfit and i doubt you would get a new Motor. A rebuild yes... If you still think it has issue send it back to Vittorazi... Some issues can be caused by the Owner,(I'm not saying the Above is) but I've had this with a guy Screaming and shouting at me that his new motor was playing up All fixed in 30mins Cause was owner not reading the manual!! If your having problems Take it to Parajet and leave it with them until they have fixed it and test flown it... If your local to us feel free to pop down and i will have a look at it with you..
  8. I'm not sure i would want a full Motor bike helmet for ppg flying... The weight might be an issue when pulling G, Fully inclosed helmets will cut you off from the Outside, Personally i like to feel the wind and hear it, Especially when ridge, thermal flying with a motor or when it's getting rough..
  9. If the straps are to tight it can cause issues getting into and our of the seat properly.. Be very careful moving the hang to far forward as it will have an effect on the use of speed bar and will bring the cage very close to your lines..
  10. I would say from your photos the hang is about right.. Possibly would want a bit more rearward.. Normal landing on your arse is down to harness adjustments, Saying that on the Older Volutions the seat plate can get caught up on the tank so not allowing it to slide right up behind you.. (shown in your fist set of photos) From memory there is a Ridge that can be smoothed out to allow better movement of the seat base, or it can catch on the chassis crass brace..
  11. Just put it where you can reach it... Bailey Mac Fly and other brands have them on the side by your hip..
  12. Personally i am not a big fan of Back racks... If your going to have to take the prop off and remove your reserve how much extra time does it take to put on the cage section??? Assembling your machine is a good way of spotting any small issues that may have arisen since you flew last... To Me Back rack's put unnecessary strain on the chassis, cages, You get your Nice new machine covered in road grime and salt this time of the year.. you have to drive at a sensible slow speed with them on the back, There will always be a Chance your going to get a nice big stone chip your £300-£600 Prop.
  13. I Had and don't like the visors.. they fog up in winter and are easily scratched especially the Mirror finish... I have sold Many Icaro helmets, At the moment the Solar X seems very popular, I have a Scarab and love it.. had it since I first started PPG (i could do with a new one) The TZ is a good Low cost option Helmet... What ever you choose try and fly with Goggles...
  14. Mmmmm contact details in Indonesia, Everything a super low prices?? SCAM!!
  15. Not harsh at all as they still supply Polini engines and bailey engines with float bowl style carbs.. If you do need to prime a Walbro style carb it is easy to adapt/Make a remote system.. For pilots who do thermal/ridge soar little things like this are normally overlooked..
  16. I guess you have Parajet? Not sure why they still put it in a place you can not reach!!! On my Mac Fly it is right by my hip when standing attached to the chassis. Very easy to reach pre and during flight..
  17. Build it and they will come... LOL
  18. The Mac Fly 250 to my knowledge is the lightest production 250 on the market. If you want impartial opinions on the mac Fly range checkout the Mac Fly owners Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/groups/119113598439831/
  19. V3 250 with E start is going to be Circa 40kg with no fuel Zenith 36-38kg no fuel..
  20. 5-6 lph is about right for the Moster 185, I was 9.66 full bar... One big reason i turned to the Polini 250 as it Has Huge power and very economic when at cruise... I lost 2 LPH just by swapping engines flying a 16m.. Down to 2lph flying a 22m at 115-120 all up
  21. Are they Still Playing with it.. thought it would have been released by now!!
  22. Apparently the Moster is not that bad!! LOL The Moster uses allot of fuel to aid cooling.. The Moster although being a strong reliable engine IMO it's very agricultural compared to other motors out there.. Think of it as a US V8 compared to a Nice German Mercedes AMG V8...
  23. We have been tinkering with our website to Help our Mac fly/Parajet - Polini owners lives a little easier when they need to order Parts rather than having to call me up. 24. Is that why you Call me on a regular Basis Paul ...
  25. If your 140kg and your looking for XC flying forget the Moster Both the AC and the Mav are both good machines but the motors they use won't have the Economy you need for XC flying at your body weight... We Had a local pilot 120kg+ flying a Mac Fly 250 on a 22m Hadron XX & Viper 3 26m.. He could climb @100-150fpm on full trim and bar doing 80kph 3.5 lph on the 22m slow trim and 3lph on the Viper 3 26m slow, Forget quoted manufactures Fuel burn figures for your weight and take there thrust figures with a pinch of salt.. Go and try before you buy!!
