  2. Does anyone actually like Dell? No didn't think so... Sent from my iPad using PMC Forum mobile app
  3. They did but it was a toss up between waiting in all day for parcelfarce to collect or drop off at the post orifice and pay more I'm happy now
  4. Yes £18.10 just to send it, slightly cheaper to get it back I think as they get business rates? Big fat repack would have been a better option for sure but I thought I'd take advantage of the weather and get it done now. It's the first time it's been done in the three years since I bought it, so probably over due

  6. I feel like I've just had a bloody good kicking! £18.10 to send my reserve with parcel force!! And they wonder why the country is going down the pan!
  7. Well I just threw my reserve (in my dining room ) It needs a repack so I thoughts I'd have a go and see what it's all about. I pulled the handle and was quite surprised how easily it came out the front container, then a good swing out in front and threw it Elastic bands all over the place and it appeared to all work as it should.. reassuring I suppose Gathered it all up ready to go to Aerofix on Monday
  8. Not sure I'd be too keen on putting anything in the wing :-/ using the wing as a mattress seems like the solution and that solves the problem of where to store the wing too.
  9. Doh.... Bag on the front could be difficult with front mounted reserve' date=' but may be an option Homer S [/quote'] Bag on the front and reserve mounted on left arm. Or dump the food and stove ect as there will be enough good people there to make sure you get well fed and watered. Who would share their food and tea/coffee with a pilot that flies this far to a fly-in?? Me for one Thanks Pete
  10. Cannock even.. that's not a good start! Doh.... Bag on the front could be difficult with front mounted reserve, but may be an option Homer S
  11. I'm planning (weather depending) on flying up to the fly-in next month, it's a 96mile trip and I have had a very kind offer of a field and fuel roughly halfway in Telford I have some light weight kit I want to take with me for camping and want to come up with a safe way of carrying it. I have a solo cooker, food, tent/bivvy, sleeping bag, mattress, and a few other essentials (coffee!) into a small bag and down to a weight of 4.5 kg's Any Ideas of best way to carry it? I'm thinking left hand swing arm or under seat board? I have tried it on the swing arm and it doesn't seem to get in the way of anything! at least not whilst running around the garden , reserve would still function as intended... I'm still within the weight limit for my wing! opinions/ideas would be appreciated Tom (Rigging is temporary for mock up only! )
  12. Mine has absolutely no interest in flying at all bloody miserable woman! She has seen me fly once in 3 years...
  13. Thanks yes all from gopro 1, but put through lightroom and photoshop
  14. I decided this afternoon that I would go and sit in the cold and wait for the gust's to die down a bit so I could get a flight, well the gust's never really died but I had two short flights anyway this now takes my grand total for 2013 to three flights.. Hopefully things will improve soon, I had an awful year for flying last year and am keeping everything crossed that 2013 will be significantly better! Got a brand new prop and that's sorted my vibration issue at last Any flyins planned in the near future?? Tom Here's some pictures from my year so far..
  15. I'm going to get the black gopro once they've sorted all the issues! (If) I would have the cash now but had to spend it on a new prop
  16. I looked at the Sony but it only does 2mp stills...
  17. I've sat a few times at 1500 ft with a GPS speed of 0mph Key thing to remember if you find yourself in a situation you hadn't expected and feel uncomfortable flying in... Don't panic! As others said, your far better having an out landing and calling for a pick up than struggling back to your takeoff.
  18. I know the seller, so can vouch for it as a genuine sale
  19. I'd recommend the Parajet, it's all I've ever flown so can't offer much in the way of experience of other brands. But with the dealings I've had with them and the quality of the kit I'd highly recommend them. If I could afford a Zenith then I'd have one already! :...( Tom
