It has less than 7 hours use including run in time. 10 flights. It is like new and everything is in excellent condition. The only issue is two small repairs to the inside edge of the composite prop which I repaired and balanced. 3. Parajet Zenith Polini 190 Light Evo (with HF upgrade) L Xl Parajet Harness with under seat reserve container Spare carbon prop (unused) spare cage ring sections (unused) spare cage spars sections (unused) Spare flash starter spring (unused) Belt tensioner 1 x Set Prop covers Various spare bolts and clips, springs etc that fit the Zenith. Only bad point is very minor scratches from general usage. The HF upgrade consists of, new cylinder head, new cooling shroud, spark plug cooling shroud. This upgrade was carried out by myself as a precaution and reduces engine temperature which was an issue on these models. I have the original cylinder head and cooling shroud which are excellent condition and will throw them in as spares. The whole top end was rebuilt this week. Over £600 spent on it including the HF upgrade. The starter mechanism failed in the air and one of the components caused the cooling fan to break up and she overheated. This means that this motor is practically new, in fact I have to break it in again. I can do this or new owner can do it. I have this motor a couple of years but I have two other motors and have just not had the time to fly it much. The machine is in excellent condition and the engine would have less than 30 hours total use. The prop is in very good condition and comes with brand new unused spare. I will throw in lots of little bits and pieces that were given to me by the previous owner and that I have gathered up over time. The Parajet harness is first class condition and very well padded. Easy access under-seat reserve pocket. The machine was purchased as a demo for students in my PPG school but to be honest none of them ever flew it. The only people to have flown this machine is the previous owner about 10 hours and myself about 15hours. Video taken 30/03/21 £3300 + Delivery
  4. Lol. Of course it is. Need to get my eyes tested. Thanks T
  5. Brand new Mav with three flights, never landed heavy and frame not dinged in any way. There is a noticeable brown mark along the side of the tank. There is no scratch mark and as I said definitely not been landed hard. I have emailed PJ UK an waiting for a response. Has anyone had anything like this and what could be the cause? I suspect it is some sort of stress mark but can't be sure. Thanks T
  6. For sale almost new (used very little) a Parajet Zenith with Polini Thor 190 EVO and recent HF Upgrade. Flash starter engine. Metallic blue and silver. L/XL Harness . Frame cage and motor are in excellent condition, No bends or dents anywhere. Parajet harness with under seat reserve pocket XL. I would normally fly a medium harness but I fit ok in this. Spare Parajet Carbon Prop Never used Genuine Parajet Belt Tensioner Two spare side spar (new) Two spare ring section (new) Spare prop bolts, springs and stuff that I kept in my toolbox for emergencies. This motor has less than thirty hours since new and looks the part. I have several other motors and have found that it needs to go to a good home and be flown. Not flown since. £3500 + Delivery
  7. Thinking of going to the festival this year but combine the visit with a trip for a small group of paragliding pilots. All are BHPA rated CP Power and above. There will also be a very experienced ppg/paragliding pilot with the group. Does anyone know of a visitor friendly club or site that would allow us to use their site for launch and land? The main aim is to have fun but short to medium xc has to be possible. A visit to any site would be made prior to the trip to ensure its suitability to our needs. We are all BHPA members and will respect local rules. Any advice would be appreciated Regards
  8. Hi bud, thanks a lot I will give that a whirl. Tony
  9. Cheers bud. There is a joined wire (in my photo they are green) that go onto one spade. Can you see where that one goes, may hep working out the others. Thanks
  10. Thanks bud, may be able to work it out using the diagram but if you had colour code it would be much handier. Thanks again. T
  11. Hi, I have an old F3 with the Solo 210. I took it apart a while ago to refurb and tidy up. I took photographs of which wires went where and labeled some of them..Unfortunately I lost my phone and all the photos showing wire locations have gone. I know where they all go apart from the three in the attached images. The three connectors I know attach to a relay but I don't know where. I have attached a couple of picture showing the wires and you and see the relay and pins in the background, green, red/white and black. If you have any idea which wires go where that would be great. 12. So, the Polini is starting on the button now with flash doing what it's supposed to do. Strapped it to a steel gate for safety, primed, it and got a bad kick. Friend pulled the chord with no fear and she started. Did it again, started. I did it a few times, started first pull with no kick back. The truth is I do believe I was just not using the correct pull technique. Or, it just took a few pulls for the spring to settle. I've had this for over a year and I didn't have this problem before the spring broke so at a loss. Either way it's all good. Video of starting attached. You can start it on a shorter pull if you make a short pull until you feel resistance then let the spring recoil then one long pull. VID-20180428-WA0000.mp4
  13. Hi Vince, thanks for that. I have tried all the various recommended ways of priming and I have started many many motors over the years with and without flash starters but this is woeful and very different. I feel that somehow the flash is not doing what it is supposed to do e.g. winding up the spring then cranking the engine. Its acting like a standard pull start. I know kick back can happen if the decompression port is blocked but I think the port being blocked is very unlikely due to the low hours of the machine. I have emailed Parajet and Polini for advise so waiting on a reply. Thanks again
  14. This could possibly be a new topic but may fit with this current one. My polini 190 light snapped a flash spring which i replaced. The problem I'm having is when I pull the chord it suddenly whits the handle out of my hand whipping the knuckles off me as she goes. I've tried all the different methods of pulling but it seems I have to pull hard to get it to start but this causes the chord to whip back. Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks TC
  15. Thanks Simon, I had looked at the map but there is only one person in the area, I did pm him. Was hoping there would be more paramotor pilots in that area. Thanks again...
  16. Hi Justin, you are understandably apprehensive about your choice of first ppg wing. I have not used the Kona but have used both Alpha, Mojo and Buzz5 Power. These are all great to fly as a beginner and most paraglider wings are also suitable for motoring. The main difference is the trimmers. I recommend going for a reflex due to the security and stability offered by reflex technology. If you want to complete xc flying the reflex allows you to have speed in a relatively safe way. Best thing is meet some ppg pilots and chat, try some wings before you buy. Paramotoring is really not difficult for people coming from a paragliding background but there are new skills to learn. Have fun Tony
  17. HI Justin, I've flown, trained students on the Spyder, Roadster 1and 2, Revo 3 and many other wings including non reflex wings. I do agree from the above the Spyder is the easiest for launching and flying but all above are fun and suitable for someone coming from free flying and skill needed to fly the Mentor. Do think about an intermediate as I think you'll be bored on a beginner wing. What ever, have fun Tony
  18. Hi chaps, friend of mine has moved to Aberdeen area. He is BHPA member, power and hill rated. He is looking for a ppg launch sites around Aberdeen area. Can anyone help? Thanks Tony
  19. Hi Andy, just saw your post about the polini 190. I am demoing a used one and it appears to run a little rough, poppy and a tad smokey at low revs. It gets better as it warms up but the engine has less than four hours arun time is this similar to your issue? Thanks
  20. Hi kiwi, I am also looking for a starter for my solo 210. The model is FIEM, MG16020, was yours the same and did you get sorted? Thanks Tony
  21. Wanted, Solo 210 starter motor. Tony
