PARAMOTOR This is a H&E r120 paramotor with around 50 hours Stainless Steel 5 part frame The frame is strong and straight yet not very heavy, netting is in good condition. There has been a reinforcing bar attached to frame which reduced flex on forward power launches on nil wind days. 20hp from 120cc engine producing 60+kg thrust depending on prop Comes with a 125cm carbon fibre HiFly prop I bought the paramotor in 2018 in used condition with low hours. I used it to complete my BHPA power training, it has not had a hard landing in the time I have owned it. I rebuilt the top end as a precaution. The piston was cleaned, rings checked and head cleaned. It has new base and head gasket, new piston needle bearing, new carburettor and new cdi coil. Fuel hoses were renewed along with priming bulb and all rubber mounts were replaced. I also fitted a new pull starter. The reduction gearbox was serviced with new bearings and seals. I changed the throttle for an improved one and added a tachometer/ hour meter at time of rebuild. It has just over 10 hours since rebuild but this may go up. The engine starts within 2 pulls and is very reliable The harness is Size Medium and has usual signs of use but still in good condition. For reference I am a bit over 6ft (183cm) and weigh 83kg without usual flight clothing. All up I would calculate an all up weight of slightly over 120kg , flying a 24m ozone roadster 2. This is at the very top end of the range for the wing and I was able to launch easily and climb out at a decent rate. For those who dont know a lot about Paramotoring yet, the engine has nothing* to do with speed – it primarily affects climb rate. I have some spares available including a brand new eprop (cost £270) This is a cheap setup, for the paramotor - £1250 (or can come with spares inc eprop for £1500) I would be prepared to sell along with my Ozone Roadster 2, 24m with around 50 hours mixed motor/free flying for a combined price of £2995

  4. HE paramotor R120 running perfect, had new rings, top end bearings and gaskets along with new coil and carb 10 hours ago. Starts with ease and runs great. Motor is clutched and has reduction gearbox, new bearings and seals 10hrs ago with fresh 000 grease. 5 part cage, in good condition with extra reinforcement for power forward launching Medium harness (I'm 6ft 82+kg and it is snug on ground but fine in the air) Carbon prop (hifly) £1250 Spare eprop with 1 short flight available extra (£1475) Can also be sold with low hour Ozone Roadster 2 24m² in custom colours (£2800 inc spares and eprop). And with front reserve (£3150) I have been flying this since Jan 2018 and bar issue with coil (now replaced with brand new HE part) this has been extremely reliable. 10.2 hours since a big service.
  5. Will keep that in mid. There is a decent thickness of alloy spacer between engine/carb. New coil on the way.
  6. Hi, anyone a guru with coils? I've a HE r120. The resistance in the coil between cap and ground is 7.87k ohms is this too high for this coil? I read that others like top 80 etc should be max 5k. My motor can be sputtery when running but main issue is hot starting, won't start until engine has cooled.
  7. From chatting to Rowena I think there is just extra protection on it from dust, maybe that's what the blue gasket is? If you do try it let me know whether it works and will try it too?
  8. I think that might be the wg9 or wg10 This is wg8
  9. Wonder if the wg10 will work as a substitute? That's what is currently being used on the radne raket engine.
  10. They are fitted to Husqvarna 3120 saw. They are extortionately priced from he/miniplane/polini. Rowena was £95 when they had it in stock.
  11. As fitted to H&E r90 and r120, (& Blackhawk equiv) Radne raked 120 Top 80 Polini Thor 130 Probably others also...
  12. Hi, Just wondering if anyone, particularly those in the trade, has a walbro wg8 carburetor for sale. Preferably new, and not crazily priced. I've tried Rowena who don't have and seemingly are unable to get as it's now a Husqvarna only part. Will try some of the Husky dealers if unsuccessfull. Rowena had given me a price a few weeks ago and had one in stock but it's now gone. My existing one is causing me annoyance. Running inconsistently, difficult starting warm and hard to get good at idle plus top end. Cheers in advance. Steven
  13. A few days ago my pull start assembly decided to come apart, I think some plastic broke and tool out some of the metal basket. I've contacted H&E who tell me they do have the part but the price is pretty high for a standard pull start. They have also told me it is known as a 'classic' starter. I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a generic one that fits. I have tried a couple of the local lawnmower guys without success. Fixings - there is 4 holes spaced 81mm apart and approx 113mm between opposites. In the picture it is part 80. (12 holes but only 4 used) Any help to save a bit of cash appreciated.
  14. Are they available for any of the regular paramotor Carbs?
  15. That's what I had assumed but wanted to confirm. It should be free to rock on the pin (I ended up having to loosen the lever where it slides onto pin) Thanks for the reply.
  16. I've been having some difficulties with my motor. It is a he r120 with wg8 carb. I was unable to get it to idle and after switching off it would pour petrol out into intake. I have stripped the carb and cleaned and I am replacing parts with kit k12-wg. I noticed when disassembling, the metering lever was firm on the pin and required some force to move it. I assumed this being tight was the reason for over fuelling. Should the lever be free moving on the pin? Should the screw that holds the pin down allow the shaft to rotate? I can't find any answers on the walbro manual so would appreciate a little advice.
  17. No longer looking.. On a side note, is there no 'community' in Northern Ireland. Or is it the case that in typical NIrish fashion everyone stays in their own wee clics?
  18. Oh and my part of the UK is Northern Ireland.
  19. In my case, the roadster2 came up and was a good deal. The second hand revo2 happened to be on continent and while was less expensive, had more hours and history. Coupled with the fact there was a language barrier meant I wasn't so happy to go ahead with purchase. I've no reason to doubt they are both good wings.
  20. There arent any dealers for any PPG equipment in my part of the UK. I have read many reviews and listened to many people's experiences so feel comfortable having made the purchase. When I come to change I may well invest in travel to mainland to test wings before purchase. Time just has not permitted it to date.
  21. Seems to be attracted to the communications mast....
