  1. Chaps, Ive just moved to the area and I contacted Parajet Simon sometime ago via another paramotoring website. He very kindly pointed me in the directed me here. The thing is, Id really like to find a decent place to fly from. Im located in Upper Saxondale (Radcliffe-on-Trent) and dont know the area that well yet. Would any of you guys fancy letting me into your gang?? lol Any tips would be most gratefully accepted! Cheers, Marc
  2. Hey Mike! Yup, Im all moved in now and settling in nicely. I have been flying for a couple of years. However, I have not logged anywhere near as many hours as I would have liked. Last years summer (if you can call it that) was a complete washout, which means that I havent been out since the new year. I fly Fresh breeze solo210 with a silex wing which is not cutting edge but its good for my needs. If I find some decent flying in this year, I think Ill upgrade. I havent managed to find any flying sites around here yet and drove to Herts at the weekend in the hope of getting aloft (only to be blown out by gusty conditions). Id love to hear from anyone who knows of any decent sites around here. Driving to and from work there seem to be lots of opportunity for decent TO zones, I guess I just need to chat with the local farmers nicely. Anyway, must go. Take care, Marc
  3. Hi Mike, Many thanks for the invite. Id love to join you guys, however, Im not actually moving in until 12th. If you ever fancy a pint and a chat after that date though, just give me a shout. Cheers, Marc
  4. Hi Norman, Yes that would be the genral area. Ill be there (well moving in) next weekend. Are you anywhere near? Cheers, Marc
  5. Hi all, Im moving to lower Saxondale in the next couple of weeks and wondered whether I could be in your gang?
