      Now, since you are calling me a thief, I have made screen shots in case we need to start a libel case against you. I showed you the source of where I got the plans from and I told you there was no copyright information on them. You continue to call me a thief on a public forum. There are also many errors in the plans and lots of things I had to sort out. I would have shared these with you for free, but now you can get stuffed. Also, I would have paid you since I used the plans without knowing you sell them, but now you can stick that up your name calling ass.

I worked very hard to come up with this design and the plan is copyrighted. Hey asshat Dayan, stop giving advice and stop giving away my property.   11. Fuzzy If your strong, young and weigh less than 160 lbs. Your going to have a better time of doing the kind of flying your talking about. Light pilots get to fly small motors on their paramotor. Which in turn allows lighter frames and so on. But. Flying to and out of areas your not familiar with can be dangerous for a new pilot. Your going to spend your first year learning so much which will open your eyes to all the problems you can encounter. As a new pilot you don't know how to evaluate each situation well enough to reduce your risks. Flying in and out of the same ideal home base will hone your flying skills and allow you to venture out to experience different flying conditions yet still have the consistency you need to stay out of trouble. Camping? Carrying extra weight can be difficult for takeoff and landings. How fast can you run with 65 lbs. on your back in zero wind? Finding and buying the right gear can be a dizzying experience. My first experiences were that each instructor claims theirs to be the best and better than all the rest. Some talked down the competition so much I felt at the end of my search I was the only one I could trust. This is just my experience and can't say you will have the same but it's best to do a great deal of homework on your own. Go to flyins and watch the flyers. Learn from both the good and the bad. Don't be afraid to buy a beginner wing. It pays off in spades launching and landing. Your going to buy more than one wing anyway. Intermediate wing is good too. Lastly, kite your butt off. Learn wing handling like a Ninja. Get started in the most steady wind conditions. You will learn faster if your not getting knocked down with rotors every other minute. Learn to handle all wind conditions. When the wind dies practice the forward launch. Because when you put the kit on your back all bets are off and you will need every still you've got to fly the wing. Al

  13. Foot launch and land is far more easy for a person who is not over weight. I'm 6' tall and weigh 215 lbs. This means I have to fly with a larger heavier paramotor. Big disadvantage. I had to pic days when the wind was blowing at least 10 to 12 and of course steady. I'm over 55 and didn't pick up on the training as quickly as a 20 something does. Kiting is everything. Until you wing handle like a Ninja. Your not ready to fly. The minute you strap that pak on your back you lose quite a bit of your ability to control the wing. Whole different feel and everything happens quickly. I kite like a Ninja it has probably saved me from expensive lessons I've seen so many take. Maybe my life. I didn't solo until my instructor thought I was ready. So launching went well for me every time I flew on my first flights. Not so for the landings. Many hard landings had me fearful in anything under 8 kt wind. Even now I'm stiff on landing but moved into a very light weigh trike and can launch and land in zero. If it blows I can foot launch but don't really find the conditions around here. Al

I have been flying for about two years and have had a chance to gain some perspective on the beginning trials and pitfalls. Are you by now flying this kit? How many flights? Are you working hard on wing handling? Al

  16. I've got a very light paramotor trike and now have designed a no weld version. I had read about another trike that boasted a no weld trike and thought it was a great idea. I use 6061 T6 aluminum so it has really good strength. The parts can be bought for pennies. If you bend it or break it. You just unbolt the part and straighten or replace it. The trike is built with just 7 pieces of aluminum, 2 fiberglass axles and 3 wheels. As it sets only 2 pieces could bend or break for the most part, and the cost of each is under $20. This makes for a very affordable trike. It had to be easy to build without purchasing any expensive tools. Drill, hacksaw, wrenches and a file are all that's needed. Other power tools do make the process easier like a drill press, table saw and a angle grinder. In the end I did add two weld options but the cost for it is very little. Estimated cost: $60 to $75 for aluminum and $275 for the wheels. Please feel free to post feed back of any type on this trike.   17. Well thanks for your response. I wasn't the person stating the "they" but I would guess he could be referring to anyone from manufacturers to friends. Here in the States we are encouraged to report any accident of any amount to better understand where we can make flying safer and prevent it from happening again. Al
  18. Love to have the 26 but I'm not giving up my 29. I'm flying under it with a PAP and a 23lb. trike. If it gets stiff I can use my GTR 24. Too bad those don't come in 26. Best of luck Al
  19. I fly a revo2 and can move the trimmers with the throttle in my hand gripping the strap with two fingers. It's smooth as silk. Something isn't threaded correctly? The keeper may have been stressed till it pinches inward and isn't releasing its bite. You have to pull the strap that has the numbers on it to get it past neutral. The "handle" section will only get you in to 1 position out. I press the keeper lever first as it will stay tight even in the inward movement. Then pull the trimmer in. You need all the length the strap has in it to go to full reflex. Tuck the excess after the buckle in the little riser sock. Lastly, I can't see so well up close without glasses so I've learned to gage the riser setting by laying 3 fingers across the riser strap between the fittings or 4 for takeoff. Nice wing Al
  20. It's been some time. Why haven't we heard more about the accident? I just received a note from someone that knew Dean well and he says "they are being very guarded on this". As it stands with me, the last thing I want to do is learn acro or slalom. God bless Dean and those that greatly feel the loss. Al
  21. Thanks for the kind words. Wind was only 3 when I launched but after climbing to safe flying elevation it was on my tail. Now that I have the trike I'm flying every week. al
