  1. I've sent it to a chap called James, he has a website on google if you type in damaged carbon prop, he seems a right nice fella and keen to help. Bout £130 to fix, I'd proper stripped the ends.
  2. Hi, damaged my carbon prop today, hit the edges, does anyone repair I'll send pics but think it's repairable. thanks Fraser
  3. Thanks, not sure when I'll be heading down to Swindon soon but maybe a road trip is in order
  4. Hi, does anyone have gabe cassidy's email, trying to get in touch and struggling through the facebook/ YouTube channels. Fraser
  5. Hi Simon, just been reading the thread on the 3rd party insurance, is there a membership and insurance form to fill in or do I do it separately? Further more I did my training many moons ago and it didn't involve credit actions or certificates so where does this leave me? Do I need to do some more training to be eligible for the cover? It's fine if I do just wondered who what where when? Thanks in advance Fraser Fylde Coast
  6. Thanks for the reply, yes I have the early risers...I'll get in touch with paramania I think because they definitely aren't right, don't suppose they will swap them but could at least advise me. I don't mind a bit of faff but I litrally couldn't shift em no matter what I did, I was rocking the wing all over the place fighting with them....
  7. Hi Paul, Hi all....will be flying in and around the Fylde Coast, red and white Revo 2. Good to hear from people and see what's going on in the community. Fraser
  8. Thanks, I tried the two handed method but still struggled, just seems a bad design really, they should slide through with no issues...I'm struggling with where the marker goes too! Is it in neutral when the line is up to the buckles?? Or the middle of the neutral section? And why the surplus extension tape? Can it be let out more? Sorry for all the questions but I've scoured the Internet and not really got answers. Fraser
  9. Hi, I see there are a few posts on the subject of Paramania trimmers but does anyone have a solution? No matter what I did last night I could not pull my trimmers down, to the point of being dangerous I was trying that hard, they just don't slide through that daft buckle system. The amount of red tape flapping around isn't great either, you have finger carefully to get hold of the right strap...not user friendly at all. Are there any modifications to be done to make it slide easier? Thanks Fraser
  10. Thanks fellas, it not the engine starting that is the problem...I do warm it up, but more where the pull start is situated. When the paramotor is on my back its very difficult to give it a good tug. Yes if someone is there that's great but I tend to fly alone...I was more thinking to relocate..over the shoulder might me better, or a foot start...can you add an electric start?. The idle Rev speed isn't anything to do with the mix then? I thought maybe if it was too rich it would run faster?? Thanks anyway, any advice is welcomed with open arms Fraser
  11. Hi, I've bought a solo 210, it doesn't have a clutch and when idling the prop spins very fast....when forward launching this presents lots of dangerous issues. Is this normal? Also the pull start is situated just under my left arm...this makes it nearly impossible to start when on my back, has anyone adapted a similar pull start to a better position? Thanks Fraser
  12. Hi guys, just bought a paramania revo that has been bought....7 years ago and not used. I've kited it today and I can say it's brand new, not a mark on it....so how good do we think it will be, the guy said he kited it every 6 months for an airing...I know they degrade even in the bag but surely it must still be good to fly. Obviously gonna get it tested but just wondered on people's thoughts. Fraser
  13. Hi, is an ozone mojo 3 a good paramotor wing? Any advice appreciated. fraser
