  1. anyone jumping ship and going to that shitty little festival parafest?
  2. Hi He is from eastern Europe and flys from Weston supermare Has a friend in beaminster so thinks its clever to buzz the town at 100ft and land on the public playing field. The first time he landed there a few weeks ago a cricket match was going on! An utter muppet with no regard for air law. As everyone in the area thinks it is me i have just got back from a chat with him. Arrogant bloke who thinks he is outside the law. I explained a few points and made It clear he is still restricted by air law He does not care.brilliant another idiot trying his hardest to get regulation.
  3. As a beginner and using one on a school paramotor for the first time for my pilot rating I found that it would slip forward and then trying to reach the kill button was bloody hard. Also hold your hand up and flex all your fingers, you have to concentrate not to flex the index finger slightly. A brand new one (as opposed to a very worn school one) would probably solve that. Very expensive
  4. Bring on the high pressure Might have to lie to a lot of customers next week. Might even get a couple of hours in by the look of it. Anybody tried heated gloves?
  5. I trained with ric at fly Spain over two weeks. Fantastic experience,go for it.
  6. Hi russell I live in beaminster and have just trained with flyspain ,that was September. Bought a parajet zenith Thor 130 from the folks at paramotor magazine.fully serviced and checked by parajet. Also got my reserve from them. I've only had three flights totalling 1hr15 mins. It's cold terrifying and great fun. Hoping to fly today but can't face the morning flight due to the cold.may try this afternoon. There are two other pilots in the area that I know and I've seen others airborne locally. Have you got a flying site?i have one or two but we are plagued with tiny fields and loads of trees here in the Brit valley. I need four more hours before I can fully qualify. Could meet for a coffee in bridport, though I only know what ric wormesley at fly Spain taught me. I often go out ground handling in all conditions, come along its fun. Bye Adz
