  1. Also tried the 20m Driftair with 140AUW, can confirm that. I normally fly standard Reflex wings around 26m.Driftair has a super easy start behavier, comes up so fast that you have to be quick on the brakes. Feels very efficient, seems to use lower rpms on level flight than my current 26m wing. It also flys nice on straight lines what was my concern before testflight, also it has no power pendulum with my setup. Landing is no issue in light winds. But don´t try nil wind. Trimmers and Speedsystem travellengh is little reduced compared to SnakeXX or Warp models, so more AoA saftey build into the wing. This wing turns so great and with no effort it´s really a pleasure to fly. It makes what you want without any turning restistance like most wings I fly before. I can´f find any drawback in the 2 hours I fly it, naturally the lost of height is more in turns than on a standard wing but the energy mamagement is very natural and fine. I think to order one.
  2. fly the Speedster 1 30size at 145kg AUW and also testfly Speedster 2 26 for 4/5 flights, underline every word guzzyB says. It´s a dream to handle, it also burns less !! fuel in comparison with my current Speedster 30, so much more efficient. Consider the smaller size. Speed in trim/out seems simmilar. Extra super to reverse start in nearly zero wind, but had probs at forwards, ears come early. Best for me was the nicer, more direct handling. General stability seems also better. So a nice evolution wish to fly one if.. $
  3. I also wait for a new Speedster with sharknose concept, lighter construction and a smarter tip steering system . Think for someone like me who flies a Speedster now, an upgrade to the Sirocco makes less sense If it´s starts easy like the Roadster2 it is a nice wing for sure....

  5. there are no official figures, depends on many factors.... But thats what I read on my GPS with Speedster@5,7kg/sqm the R2 value is from a recent post in this forum
  6. don´t think Roadster 2 is as fast as Speedster, 53 vs 48kph with trims open, which is 10%. I hope there is a shark nose PPG wing between aspect 5 and 6 in near future from Ozone. We will see... I have flown the R2 and the glide is really much better then the 2011/12 wings.

  8. Also also did a short testflight with the 28 Roadster 2 at 145kg all up. Really easy inflation and lighter and more progressive brakes It´s a very nice, easy to use glider. Speeds similar to my Speedster 30, but not measured yet...
