  1. I know this is a dead thread, but the reason the fuel isn't pushed up the tube by blowing in the tank vent, is likely because you have a diaphragm carb that requires you to push down on the little 'button'. This opens up the carb to allow the air in. Although, you should have had to do that with the primer bulb as well.
  2. I'm not sure if I have malformed hands, or if its simply a case of ineptitude, but I am having trouble holding the throttle and the brake toggle. The main issue is that if I hold the brake with just my index finger, it gets really tired after about 10 min. Not only that, but it starts to get painful! The tiredness/pain is resolved if I use two fingers, however, this results in the brake toggle getting in the way of the throttle lever (which obviously is a big problem). My question is, do other pilots encounter this problem? Do you have solutions? I found the Cameleon Throttle http://www.mycameleon.fr/ which looks like it could solve my problem but it is pricey. It is a throttle that is actuated by your index finger instead of your 'little fingers'. As reference, I have a Kangook Paramotor with the standard Kangook throttle, and a Nemo2 Glider with the TCH (triple comfort handles) which obviously aren't tripley comfortable Perhaps I should remove the rigid tube inside the handle?
  3. Awesome improv harness! As it turns out, I didn't need to buy a harness I got plenty of kiting in before I actually attached my paramotor harness to the paramotor. It is a giant pain taking the harness on/off of the motor frame so now that I am through my initial training, I will likely buy a training harness so that I can kite when I'm not up for flying.
  4. Hey everyone. I'm a new paragliding student. I'm trying to decide if I really need to buy a separate harness just to practice ground handling. Any pointers? $275 seems like a lot to spend on it! Maybe I just don't appreciate what it does? I just bought a Kangook Classic frame with an HE125 paramotor. The kit came with a SupAir harness. I also purchased a Dudek Nemo 2 25.5 wing. Maybe someone has a used harness they're looking to sell?
