  1. Weston check out www.DiscoverPoweredParagliding.net His name is Mike Mixer great guy and good lessons.. Email him and tell him Terrie from canada sent you.. I am sure he will help you out. terrie
  2. paratoys.ca does lessons for 300 for ground and 1595 for the rest. Transport Canada certified.. old airforce pilot is what I have been told . Morgy just come over and fly. There was a guy from the states that flew for 5 years with out even getting asked for anything... The he got busted for being stupid. ( took a cooler of beer up with him) My saying that I use for the guys that work for me is " there is no cure for stupid" As long as you have your docemtion with you I can't see there really being a problem. terrie
  3. Treetall100 where are takeing your lessons ? There is a guy right near to me that is certified with Transport Canada.. Sell Blackhawks... http://www.paratoys.ca A buddy of mine is selling one of his kits. Low low hours and a complete kit if you want a quad and everything... You just have to be under the 160lbs mark. http://london.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-other-Powered-Paraglider-Blackhawk-Quad-Package-W0QQAdIdZ437053931 unless you want to foot and then 180 mark.. You could always get a bigger wing if you are more then the 160 If you email him just tell him Terrie sent you He bough a new one just to have more power and a faster wing once he learnt on the Blackhawk terrie
  4. LOL bright pink,,,,,hmmmm no don't really want my truck to look like a "Mary Kay" truck would have a bunch of old ladies asking for makeup.. terrie
  5. maybe that is why his came off ... his power washer is 3200psi.. We use them to get the mud off our trucks and ATVs. I might have to order a kit from DIPmycar and do my truck for piss and giggles Terrie
  6. Looks great just dont use a pressure washer to clean the mud off... a friend did his mini and it came off the first time he washed it... I want to do the hood on my truck Terrie
  7. I seen something this morning about this problem online someplace where it is how you charge it and unplug it from the USB charger.. some people say charging the batt. in the wall charger they don't have the problem that is all i seen on line . ( amazon.com reviews I think it was) terrie

For 5500 Eur you can have a brand new complete kit. ( 7100 canadian converted to Eur ) Have a friend with the 120 and loved it to learn on but wasn't enough for him so he stepped up to the Rodeo That is all I know... One of my friends is looking at the new BlackHawk 175 Talon and it is hard to find info on them also.. Not alot of reviews. Sorry I can tell you more Terrie
  9. Does anyone have any feed back on these. A buddy of mine that wants to get into PPG also has been looking at them and I don't know anything about them and it is hard to find any reveiws on them. All I can find is the salton sea event with the test there. 179lbs of thrust? really. I know it is below sea level and all but that is pretty high specs. http://blackhawkparamotor.com/parmotors/blackhawk-talon-175-paramotor/ The only reveiw we have found was footflyers.com My buddy only has 8000 dollars to spend on a kit and this is why he is looking at them 7100 for a complete kit. I told him to save alittle motor and buy something that has been around for a while I am the type of guy that goes of others mistakes . I try to see what works and last so the up front cost may be alittle higher but the end cost is cheeper. ( buy a good motor that will last , instead of buying a motor that needs parts all the time.. It is going to be a polini thor 200 for me ..... They have been building motors for years Any thoughts. thank you Terrie Merry Christmas to everyone and their families
  10. You are right there you don't have to take anything off more then you have to check the valve clearence. You need a feeler gauge to check . you just check between the rocker arm and the top of the valve. I don't know the specs but I used to have to do this on my 1988 GSXR after a weekend of racing way back when.. If you have questions send me a email or a pm and I can walk you through it. Find the specs of the gap you need and get a feeler gauges and you are almost done terrie page 11 shows you how ... page 2 tells you how much you need http://www.baileyaviation.com/TO%20DOWNLOAD/V5%20PPG%20Manual%20V1.pdf
  11. one question do you think someone should speed wire( safety wire) bolts on PPM? It is this alittle over board? I had to fit a buddies motor mount on his Paratoy because the bolt came loose and wrecked the threads. Had to put a helicoil it for him. When I race street bikes we had to speed wire every bolt . When you went through tech and they seen one bolt not No race that day. Just thinking about safety here and not wrecking a carbon prop with a bolt or nut going through it. TerrieB
  12. 4 years ago I was a dell Fan and was going to buy a flattop.. Great Salesmen with the way he does videos and such.. Not alot of other Pros promote their brands like he does. ( I worked for a guy just like dell for 5 years in the kiteboarding world. promote promote promote) Then it gets old and their head gets twisted inside of it self... They thing nothing else is better and if you fly something else that you like better it is no good. I may like Ozone , you may like GTX and so on. Over the last 4 years watch dell's crap I will never buy anything from him not support his product. He really needs to get his head out of his butt. He is just wrecking the sport for everyone with the people that don't do it. It was funny this week on Daily Planet (TV show ) he was on there too... He does know how to sell himself... The bottom line is as long as you are in the air and you like the product you fly stick with it. Their is really no need for a pissing match on i'm better you are better. Just enjoy it.. I hope Dell's wings get clipped before he gets it band in other spots where I would like to visit and fly someday. Just my 2 cents terrieb
  13. Morgy will take a look at your site. Thanks. the bull dog would be nice but the thor 100 is alittle light for my big fat butt.. 100 +- no gear I haven't found the dutie yet one the gov web site for a PPM but a Paraglider is dutie free just have to pay the 13% tax HMMMMM class it all as a paraglider and no one would know the difference. Can you ship a Speedster to Canada with out getting into trouble from Ozone with your dealer agreement. Was told that buy another shop from your side of the pond HMMMM should be able to I don't know anyone that sells them in Ontario. Just dealers that sell kite gear. sorry brain fart Ganer I like the way you think. Just not a opition here for me ... Terrie
  14. I wish i lived in the UK instead of Canada right at this min.... I only know of one other that PPG and most people will not ship to canada ( used anyways) there are only 2 places to get my lience in ontario... one sells parajet the other sell nirvona and paratoys. So it is limited here. Jump the ditch to the states and there are 4 or 5 in Michigan only ( But i have to be lienced in canada or flying is a big no no) States don't need anything to fly just buy and go. Which i think is totally stupid when you could hurt someone else or kill someone. let alone yourself. Been watch the forum and other for a long time now... it is weird how things change from place to place. The fuel fill up at stations is one of them . I go to the gas station all the time with 5 or 6 - 5gal cans in the back of my truck and fill them up for chain saws, lawmowers, ATV, or what ever i want. They don't care as long as you have the money to pay for it.. terrie
  15. example Parajet Zenith 5500 GBP Revo2 2500 GBP 8000 GBP with no safety / or gps and such. 1500 GBP can get used up pretty fast for odds and sods. I just know this is a example but I know we can get cheeper ones... It all depends on what you want and how deep the pockets are. I worked very hard for all the toys I have ever had and a real good wife that lets me buy them. Terrie
