    Though others might benefit from this: http://www.mapmyrun.com/create It is designed for running, but you don't have to set your route to follow roads. I've always found it good for a quick and rough planner to calculate a XC route.

    Anyone else having problems with the site being slow? Taking about 30-40 seconds to load EACH page, every other website I have up seems to be running fine

    , I'm in the Hawick area of the Scottish Borders. A personal favourite of mine is around the St. Mary's loch area. Great piece of countryside with hills and valleys west of the loch. Martin
