Hi guys, posted once or twice on here just thought I would introduce myself formally, very new to the whole paramotoring scene, only discovered it about a month ago and booked my training up less than 48 hrs later with simon, had my first lesson today and can tell Im really going to enjoy it! it was tricky getting the hang of it at first and my bloody legs ache now but was well worth it and I feel I've made some good progress. looking foward to the next lesson, thanks again Simon!

that was my thinking, Ive booked up with simon so hopefully can start soon as this weekend was too windy, damn weather!

the issue is those engines are made with torque in mind as well, (not a lot mind ) as they are designed to have enough grunt to push a person along, im under the impression that paramotor engines want high power low torque, (as all they are doing is turning a kilo or so of prop round)

I bought a couple of 1 : 250,000 maps in the end, going off what you said and thinking it would probably be better to have a more detailed area.

is 1: 500,000 ok or is better to go 1: 250,000 (just means I need more maps )

funnily enough, the above was the exact site i was looking at, was just unsure whether there were any better places

Sort of off the back of this wheres the best place to get aero maps? specifically south and wales, my friend gave me his a while back but needs it back, he got in a commercial pack apparently so couldnt help me with where to get them from. cheers !

some bulls can be esepcially vicious for no reason, like people somedays they can be passive other days they wont hesistate to stamp on your face! when I was in hospital a guy came in the bed next to me with 4 broken ribs a broken arm and leg because a bull decided it didnt like him, he would have died had he not been able to climb back over the gate
