    Hi all, Thinking of doing beach take off this summer from just south of shell island near Barmouth and hopefully flying over Snowdon range. Is there anything i need to be aware of other than the obvious such as Raf Valley? Also do all forum pilots keep to the 500ft rule when flying the coast, and any thoughts on using your gear on the beach? Cheers, Martin

    Thanks Carl, Yes I would like to take a look at what it is all about,never actually seen a paramotor in action. Next time your out and about I will try to meet in the field. If you could let me know on 07944 298657 that would be great. Regards Martin.

    Cheers Simon, Yes i think that Airways require you to have your own kit. It seems to be the norm with schools this neck of the woods.

    Hi there, I am a CP paraglider pilot interested in PPG. Could anyone advise me on how to convert to PPG and what are the costs of conversion and a second hand paramotor. I would like to use my paragliding wing so looking for a paramotor with low hang points. Also could anyone recommend an instructor near my location which is Stafford . Any info much appreciated.     Hi all could somebody please answer this question about what training is required to fly a paramotor.Looking on the net I have found paramotoring courses which say you have to take a EPC then a CP course and then a conversion course to a paramotor. As these courses cost around £1400 i was wondering if there is a course just to fly a paramotor and if so who does these courses and how much would it cost. Any info anyone could give me would be much appreciated Many Thanks Martin.
