Phippsy of Cloud 9 cornwall is a great option. He will teach you to fly using a winch system first then a motor. Phippsy has been teaching flying for over 30 years. I trained with him last year. you can reach his 20 acre training site in under 2 hours from exeter. If the weather is fine and wind 10 mph or less you will find them in the training field most days of the week and weekends. You will have a great time !. Keith

Dave, Not flying yet, have had some unpowered flights some years ago. I am looking into training currently and hope to be sorted by the summer. It would appear that there a no real problems with Dartmoor but would be interested in your comments about my site etc. Keith B

I am looking into Paramotoring around south Dartmoor. I have a small farm outside Moretonhampstead and would intend heading out over the moors, Easdon down is a 3km from my high feilds. Any comments about flying in this area ? Keith
