Been looking around this forum for the past few months and decided its about time to come out of the shadows and introduce myself!
My names Al, 26 from Poole, Dorset. I've always been interested in flying (Despite a morbid fear of heights!) but found it cost prohibitive, toyed with the idea of microlights for while but even thats a huge initial expense!
So as I was walking the dogs down the beach a few months ago I saw a paraglider and watched him for about half hour or so and thought it looked like fun!
So 2011 will be the year I take to the sky's, well at least thats the plan! Is there any anyone on this site from my area paramotoring? noticed some old threads from a couple of guys in wimborne but nothing since and also no county club
Any pointers or advice would be most appreciated, I have not got to far with booking lessons though I have pm'd simonw.
