Yes, ask PeteB. I've just had a full set off him. Didn't get chance to have a really good look at them before it was off to Spain but as far as I could see they were spot on.

F7SB4G30C2 The map enquiry is a pain in the arse to use but when you eventually get it zoomed in on the field you’re looking for it’s the title register you need. Costs 4 quid but if there is a record available shows you the name and address of the owner.

To give you some idea, I put mine on my digital fishing scales which I know are cock on but only go up to 30kg and it bottomed them out with a litre of fuel in. I got the feeling it was only just bottoming them out. I only did it out of curiosity not because I had any issue with the weight of it. It’s my first motor so I’ve nothing to compare it to but I did try PeteB’s volution 1 once and it “feels” massively lighter. More than 3kg anyway and I’m chuffed with it. I’m only 57kg soaking wet and I don’t find it overly heavy. I have only had 2 short flights with it though

I need a bit of advice if any of you lads know. I’ve got a long and narrow building plot (7 meters wide) that I plan to build a detached house on. Just got off the phone with the architect and he thinks we should consider using SIP’s to maximise internal floor space but couldn’t tell me much more about them as it would be the first time he’s worked with them I have seen them before but dismissed them as cheap flat pack houses but apparently they are not. The house is only 5.5m wide so extra space would be a bonus. Also, we have just completed a bungalow barely 30m from this plot that I had to have some drilling and grouting done at a cost that would make your eyes water. I’m sure the powers that be will make me do it again but Mr Architect seems to think that maybe we can get away with the drilling if we use SIP’s. I really can’t see how. He’s a good guy but I don’t want to be a guinea pig for him. I’m pretty sure there are builders on here or maybe someone that has used them on a self build. Any advice or experience appreciated.

I did a tandem skydive on holiday last year and thought the best bit I thought was the glide down and it got me thinking about this sport. I wanted second hand kit to start with because I was thinking it would be the sensible option – been watching a few videos on youtube of people smashing up their equipment. Plus my mates interested and I would just pass it on to him on the cheap if he wanted to get into it. New or really good second hand kit would be my aim once I know what I’m doing with it. I’m hoping to get my mate interested too who only weighs about half a stone more than me so I would probably be looking to pass it on to him once I’m sorted and got some better gear. I used to work for a fella that used to go to look at jobs in a helicopter and he would just land in any field then ask the farmer afterwards if it’s okay but I don’t have that sort of brass neck.
