    Gents, Very kind of you all to reply. I have signed up for a course with Airways and have had 2 lessons already. It is a great set up and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is only 45 minutes form Nottingham. Thank you all for taking the time and effort to respond.

    I am thinking of taking up paramotoring with my other half but would like the recommendation of a suitable instructor within, say, an hour of Nottingham. There appears to be contradictory advice about length and quality of training required and available. I am a former microlight pilot and my better half is very much a novice to this kind of thing, therefore quality of instruction is important if she is not to be deterred. Therefore I would be very pleased to receive suitable advice.
